Google is one of the best and popular search engine. It is a hub of Information. The motive of google is to organize the world's information and make it accessible and useful for everyone. Google has many interesting facts and  learning tools but i am here with some fun secrets and helpful things which can make your life easier.
                  
                                                      1. Set a timer

Setting a timer is very simple if you use google. Yes you can easily set a timer of X minutes in google and manage all the activities like cooking, laundry, shower and also for keep tracking of your favorite  serial or movie.

 Simply say "Set a 4 minute timer" or "Set timer for 7 a.m." in google now and it will then take care of your command. You can also increase the value of timer.

While planning for a trip google plays an important role to make the things better. The only thing you have to know is the flight number of any aircraft and google helps you finding out arrival time, departure time and terminals but there is no such technology for trains.

 By typing "Flights to" on google now and you will get the travel information.

                                             4. General knowledge (GK)

Ask any GK question from Google and it comes with perfect results. Like "Who is the richest man in India" or "Entomology is the science that studies".

We know that Google answers every question well but it also shows you answers to the related questions as well. As we can see the picture above, Question is "When was Google Founded" also shows the establishment dates of Lenovo, MI, Huawei.

You can find latest stock charts, stock quotes, company news, financial information in google. You can stream quotes for stocks from the most popular stock exchanges around the globe.

For those, who are sports enthusiast can use google to track each and every sport event and their schedules. This task of google is appreciate by the sport fans. These sports state information are available in Desktops, Tablets, laptops and smartphones.

Simply search the name of the team like "Indian Cricket Team" shows you the organized result from the previous match, next match, statistics and also the live scores.

For finding any place, locality and areas, google is very helpful. If you know the address or a pin code, you can search it on google and it will show you the whole map of that area. Google is rich in  database. The database including address, buildings, motels, hospitals, ATM, banks etc. 

One of the best example is, searching for "110024" will show which area belong under this pin code.

When you are about to reach any place you can take the help from google to find it's directions. Searching for "Directions to -------" and your destination will show you a map. It also shows the exact time, when you reach to that place depending upon the current traffic condition.

Want to know the time of other countries, sunrise and sunset information, holidays and other important events, visit google.

 Just search for "Time in Switzerland" or "Time in Singapore" and the result comes with the exact time of that country. Same thing work for the weather too.  Just search for "Weather in Shimla" or "Weather in Manali".

Do a barrel roll is a command to the google to make a barrel roll and google dutifully obeys. It is a fun oriented google trick to pass the time.

 When you search for "tip calculator"  google shows an interactive card. In some countries tipping is expected from customers but in some countries tipping is discouraged. Tipping is high in United States with 15-20%.

Thanks giving day is a national holiday celebrated in many countries. It began as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest. It has historical roots in religious and cultural traditions. For more than two centuries, individual colonies and states celebrates this day. It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in United States Of America and on the second Monday of October in Canada. It was president Abraham Lincoln, who proclaimed that national thanks giving day to be held in November.
